Dear AAG Members and friends,
The current Executive Board Officers had served their 2-year term in office and it is time for the election of new Executive Board Officers.
A General meeting will be held on January 25 th (Friday) @ 6pm, whereby, an open election will be conducted.
We will meet at Tipp Thai Restaurant 5740 Spring Mtn. Rd(Spring Mt. and Lindell). Please plan to arrive promptly at 6pm. Dinner will be provided.
The following positions are open for elections:
- president
- Internal Vice-President
- External Vice-President
- Secretary
- Asst. Secretary
- Treasurer
- Asst. Treasurer
- Youth Group Coordinator
- Public Relations Director
In addition, we would also like each ethnic community to nominate a liaison/liaisons to represent their community, namely:

This election will be adjudicated by 3 selected members of AAG. They are Keith Ratnaweera (klara7@embarqmail.com) and Jerry Tao (tao_j@msn.com) and Max Hooks (maxhooks@cox.net) all Independent not running forĀ any AAG positions.
If you have a candidate to nominate, you may submit the name/names of the nominee to one of theses three members by January 12th.
Criteria for Voting:
- President and Vice-Presidents of all Organizations affiliated to AAG are eligible to vote.
- All current independent members (not associated to any organizations) are also eligible to vote. as long as their Dues of $10 are paid.
- Any individual/organizations who have not registered as AAG members may do so at this meeting. And all Individuals are eligible to vote after paying the $10 dues. Upon registration, they are eligible to their votes. Dinner will be Served
Annual registration membership is $10 per person and $25 per Organization. New Registration will bee good for one year.
- Current AAG members are encouraged to renew their memberships.
- All AAG members will be able to enjoy the benefit of complimentary invitations to AAG functions/events: preferential seating at each event or function.
- All Organizations will be given one table of 8 at AAG function except the awards.
- AAG Board will facilitate discussions w/ elected officials on issues concerning the Asian Community, future proposals including scholarships and empowerment of Asian presence in the state of Nevada.
- Any issues and problems the AAG Board will try to facilitate with elected officials.
